"same to you, bird."

Guys this isn’t good! WTF is going on with you all?

This show is the most entertaining thing on basic network television. WATCH IT!

well fuck. it’s the katrina effect.

white girl shippers already going on about “abbie is going to try to fall for nick to bury her feelings for ichy omg my hearttt”

honestly if that is what happens (and yeah i realize it probably will happen because tv loves nothing more than a black woman pining for a white man who isn’t even worth her time but is still presented as ~unattainable) i hope i have the strength to leave this show for good.  because even if icky does come around and level up eventually, in reality it’ll just have been more of the same.

if things happen between abbie and nick, i want them to be real, and genuine.  i want it to make her happy, full stop.  icky has a lot of upgrading to do before it makes sense for abbie to fall for him, even on the most subconscious level.

The problem with Abbie and Nick is that they are presented as a very gross ship from the beginning, because he and Jenny were lovers in the past. There is nothing even remotely healthy that can come from that. I’m disgusted that these writers thought this story with Nick is okay. And on top of that they did that “weakness” scene with Abbie. This is nauseating.

I have a problem with all these characters of color risking their lives for Katrina when she hasn’t proved herself worthy of risking their lives over.

It’s what pissed me off about the season one finale and it’s continuing to piss me off.

Let her move a goddamn twig or some shit. Ugh.

Sleepy Hollow “The Kindred” - Ichabbie Thoughts

One step forward and two steps back. The premiere was so encouraging but this episode felt like the antithesis to it. The episode just left me feeling more sorry for Abbie than anything. I understand that Ichabod feels he has a duty to his wife. He says he’s equally committed to being a husband and a witness. If that were the case, he would stop putting Abbie’s (the other witness) life in danger in the name of “saving his wife”.

Abbie openly said he’s her greatest weakness.  I believe it’s a) because she takes her duty as witness so seriously and b) she and Crane have developed a true connection that goes beyond their destinies. So, she will always support and want to protect Crane even at immense danger to herself. I don’t think there’s any doubt that Crane reciprocates those feelings for Abbie as both a witness and partner. He’s shown that he can and will put Abbie first without hesitation sometimes.

However, there are times that he will do anything in the name of his marriage and that calls into question his commitment to Abbie’s well being. From what we’ve been shown, he can not fully reconcile both his past and present/future. If Crane gets anymore ideas about saving Katrina, LEAVE ABBIE AND BY EXTENSION JENNY OUT OF IT. Abbie should not have to be stuck in the middle and by now, Crane should realize that is what he is asking of her as a partner.

I just hope the show is coming to a point where Crane will actively make a decision between past and present so Abbie can know if he is going to have her back unconditionally in this thing or not. I really really really hope he no longer will put her in danger for the sake of Katrina.

That exactly is my problem with this episode, Ichabod and the show in general. I don’t care that he risks his neck for the awful character that is his wife. My problem is that he doesn’t care who he has to sacrifice to achieve that. He betrayed Abbie once and now he left her behind fighting two freaking horsemen with the help of an unreliable monster. How is this mediocrity of a man going to protect humanity, when there is only one thing he cares about?

T h e  N o r t h  is hard and cold, and has no mercy.

"You are the deception" said Chucky with her dead inexpressive eyes.

The fuck did you smoke Chucky? It takes a lot of nerve to say that to someone, who, evil as he is, hasn’t been a duplicitous lying piece of shit unlike, I don’t know… YOU!… and yes, your mediocre husband.

Albert Einstein, when he arrived in America, was shocked at how African Americans were treated. “There is separation of colored people from white people in the United States,” he said. “That separation is not a disease of colored people. It is a disease of white people. And, I do not intend to be quiet about it.” And, he wasn’t.

So I was going to gif the scene where Abbie and Franklinstein go HAM on both of the Horsemen but I could not stop laughing at the Horseman of War hitting his best Chris Brown shoulder pop & lock.
